Story

When Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey founded the Greubel Forsey brand in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 2004, they refused to believe that everything in watchmaking had already been invented. They went beyond the ordinary and focused their energies on uncompromising innovation and the most demanding handcrafted finishes. Thus, they carried the level of perfection reached by the masters of the 18th and 19th centuries to the present day.

The 100 timekeepers produced each year are crafted with a commitment to perfection at every stage of the creation, implementation, transmission, and sustainability processes. The seven fundamental inventions developed by Greubel Forsey were meticulously crafted at the EWT Laboratory, each contributing a new chapter to the history of watchmaking.

With 30 unique and original calibres created since 2004, Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey continue to share and live out their passion and vision for contemporary mechanical watchmaking.
